Intelligence before action
Most compensation websites push you straight toward a claim — before you even know what your case might be worth, whether you're eligible, or what the risks are. We built ClaimValue to change that.
We believe consumers deserve access to the same data that solicitors and insurers use every day — the Judicial College Guidelines, FCA benchmark figures, CAA flight compensation rates, ICO data breach precedents — presented clearly, without jargon, and without any sales pressure.
Use our tools to understand your position. Then, if you decide to proceed, we'll connect you with a vetted specialist. That's it.
Our operating principles
Every estimate we produce is based on publicly available, authoritative sources — Judicial College Guidelines, FCA reports, CAA statistics, court records. We never fabricate ranges or inflate numbers to increase lead volume.
All calculators, payout data, and eligibility information are free to access with no registration required. We don't harvest email addresses in exchange for basic information that should be publicly available.
Compensation claims are complex. Outcomes vary. We show ranges, not fixed amounts, and we're explicit about what factors will affect your real-world result. We'd rather give you an honest picture than an optimistic one.
We are not affiliated with any law firm, claims management company, or insurer. When we refer users to specialists, we receive a fee — but this never influences the data or estimates we provide.
We don't use countdown timers, aggressive pop-ups, or manufactured urgency. You should feel informed and in control — not pressured. Lead capture only happens after we've given you something genuinely useful.
The compensation landscape changes constantly — court rulings, FCA decisions, new regulations. We review and update all data quarterly, and flag major changes (like the Supreme Court PCP ruling) as they happen.
Where our data comes from
Every figure on ClaimValue is sourced from official UK regulatory bodies, published court outcomes, or sector-specific legislation. Here are our primary sources:
ClaimValue is free to use. We are funded in two ways: (1) display advertising via Google AdSense, which appears on some pages, and (2) referral fees when a user chooses to connect with a specialist solicitor through our platform. The referral fee does not affect what you pay — it is paid by the solicitor firm, not by you. It never influences the estimates, payout data, or eligibility guidance we provide. If you have questions about this, please contact us.
Important disclaimer
ClaimValue is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. We are an independent information and tools platform. Everything on this site — calculators, payout ranges, eligibility indicators — is for general information only and does not constitute legal advice in relation to your specific circumstances.
Compensation estimates are indicative only. Real-world outcomes depend on the specific facts of your case, the evidence available, the legal arguments made, and how the other party responds. No estimate should be taken as a guarantee of any outcome.
Always consult a qualified solicitor before starting a claim. A regulated solicitor is bound by professional rules and can give you advice tailored to your specific situation in a way that a general-purpose tool cannot.
ClaimValue is not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) or the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). We are not a claims management company regulated by the FCA.
If you spot a data error, want to suggest a new tool, or have a question about how ClaimValue works, we'd like to hear from you.
